Constitutional Declaration of the State of Birland

Preamble

We, the representatives of the people of the State of Birland, including native inhabitants, those who have entrusted the land of Bir Tawil to form this nation, and supporters from across the globe, unite to establish a sovereign Humanitarian Institutional Monarchy. Guided by the principles of peace, justice, equality, and human dignity, we dedicate ourselves to fostering a fraternal, pluralistic, and inclusive society rooted in social harmony, international neutrality, and respect for human rights.

In recognition of our cultural, religious, and social diversity, we proclaim the establishment of the State of Birland, the world’s first humanitarian nation, under the official name The Kingdom of Birland. The official languages of the State shall be English, Arabic, and Nubian.

This Constitutional Declaration serves as the cornerstone of our nation’s commitment to promoting global peace, protecting individual and collective rights, and ensuring the welfare, security, and development of all Birlandians.

Article 1: Founding Principles

  1. Sovereignty and Neutrality

The State of Birland is a sovereign nation committed to maintaining peace, upholding international neutrality, and refraining from interference in the internal affairs of other states

  1. Human Rights and Freedoms

The State guarantees the protection of fundamental freedoms, including freedom of expression, belief, assembly, and association, without discrimination based on sex, race, color, religion, language, social status, or any other characteristic.

The dignity and equality of all individuals are inviolable

The State adheres to international human rights conventions, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and commits to their promotion and development.

  1. Democratic Governance

National sovereignty resides with the people, who exercise their will through a peaceful and democratic transfer of power.

The State shall establish institutions to ensure transparent, accountable, and inclusive governance free from external influence.

  1. International Cooperation

The State pledges to honor international treaties and agreements that align with the values and interests of the Birlandian people, fostering cooperation, solidarity, and mutual respect with all nations.

The State prioritizes the inclusion of all citizens, particularly youth, in nation-building, ensuring opportunities for education, development, and participation in civic life.

  1. Protection of Stateless Persons and Refugees

The State is committed to safeguarding the rights of stateless persons and refugees, advocating for their recognition and working to alleviate their suffering in accordance with international humanitarian principles.

  1. Global Solidarity

The State seeks to strengthen relations with all peoples and nations, promoting peace, prosperity, and sustainable development within Birland and the broader region.

Article II: Constitutional Framework

  1. This Constitutional Declaration forms the foundation of the Constitution of the State of Birland, which shall further elaborate the structure of governance, judicial independence, and the rights and duties of citizens.
  2. The Constitution shall ensure the rule of law, democratic freedoms, and humanitarian principles as the basis for national unity and progress.

Article III: Commitment to Implementation

We, the representatives of the people of Birland, pledge to uphold this Declaration and work tirelessly to realize its principles. We call upon all Birlandians and supporters worldwide to join in this endeavor to build a nation that stands as a beacon of peace, justice, and humanity.
